Wednesday Open Singles Series 2026

The Wednesday Open Singles Series 2026 is a weekly individual stableford competition held at Fermoy Golf Club, running every Wednesday from 13th May 2026 to 26th August 2026. The event is open to both ladies and gentlemen (open gender). The entry fee is €6 for members and €25 for visitors. Online booking is available via the club's booking system at https://www.brsgolf.com/fermoy/opens_home.php or by contacting the clubhouse on 025 31472. The top three players from each weekly round qualify for the Grand Final, which will be held on Saturday, 5th September 2026. The Grand Final includes an 18-hole playoff followed by dinner and prize-giving, with tea, coffee, and scones available on the day. The Grand Final is limited to a maximum of 45 qualifiers. Weekly prizes are awarded to the top three players and the best visitor each week. Grand Final prizes include Callaway Irons (1st), Powacaddy Waterproof Bag (2nd), Rangefinder (3rd), Nike Shoes (4th), and a Golf Bag (5th). The series is sponsored by McGuirks Golf Fota.
