The Wasserschloss Challenge 9-Loch is an individual strokeplay competition played as a Stableford over the front nine holes (holes 1-9) at Golfclub Chemnitz. The event is held on Fridays with start times at 15:00 and 17:00, and on Sundays with start times at 08:00 and 11:00. Registration closes at 12:00 on the day before the event via the club's website, email, phone, the Clubinone4U app, or in person at the club secretariat. Players are grouped together by the competition committee. The competition is played under the official Golf Rules of the German Golf Association (DGV) and the club's course rules, with handicap allowance based on the World Handicap System. The event is handicap-relevant. Maximum field size is 24 players. Members of Golfclub Chemnitz pay 15.00 EUR entry fee; visitors (guests) pay 45.00 EUR. All participants, including those who do not play, must pay the entry fee. Participants must be amateur golfers who are members of a club affiliated with the DGV or a recognised foreign golf association. Start times are communicated the day before via SMS and/or email. Scorecards and start lists are available at the hut on tee 1. Tee times may vary due to weather conditions. The tournament is part of the Race to El Gouna series; each participant receives a travel voucher worth 40 EUR for a BIG BIRDIE TRAVEL EVENT. Dress code: men wear yellow, ladies wear red. Protests must be submitted to the competition committee after the result list is displayed.
