Mercedes Benz AWGC

The Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup (AWGC) is a weekly 9-hole individual stableford tournament series open to amateur golfers who are members of DGV (Deutscher Golf Verband) affiliated clubs or recognized foreign clubs. The event is played over 9 holes (either holes 1-9 or 10-18) with a cannon start. Players are grouped by the tournament director based on handicap index. Registration is available online via www.awgc.de or through the club. The entry fee is 45.00 EUR for guests (including green fee) and 25.00 EUR for club members. Prizes are awarded for gross winners and top three net winners, with a special prize for Hole-in-One. The competition is handicap-relevant under the World Handicap System. A maximum of 36 starting places are available, with a minimum of 16 required for the event to run. Results are reported to the AWGC series organizer for national rankings.
