The 5th Monthly Prize is a regular monthly individual stableford competition held at Krefelder Golf Club e.V. The event is played over 18 holes with handicap allowance. All players in handicap classes A, B, and C are eligible to participate. Men play from the back tees (yellow) and ladies from the front tees (red). The entry fee is EUR 10 for adults, EUR 7.50 for juniors, and EUR 5 for youth. Entries are made through the club's online tournament administration system. The competition is handicap-relevant and follows the club's general competition rules.

Krefelder Golf Club e.V. is a traditional German golf course founded in 1930, located in Krefeld at Eltweg 2. The club is recognized nationally and internationally as one of Germany's most beautiful parkland courses. The layout features 18 holes with widespread fairways, distinctive trees, and challenging hole designs that accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The course includes both summer and winter greens, with holes 1-11 available for winter play. Notable holes include routing through scenic terrain, with particular emphasis on holes 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15, and 17 which feature designated pathways for player navigation. The course is maintained to championship standards with professional greenkeeping, and green speeds are regularly measured using stimpmeter technology. The club offers a driving range facility and welcomes trolleys and pull carts. A full range of tournaments and competitions are organized throughout the year, including traditional events, age-group competitions, and inclusive golf tournaments, supported by professional instruction from certified PGA professionals.
