Golfplatz Stenerberg

Rabenkirchen-Faulück, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

Golfclub Stenerberg is an 18-hole championship course located in the rolling Angeliter landscape between Kappeln and Süderbrarup near the Schlei River in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, positioned between the Baltic Sea and North Sea. The course stretches 5,160 meters with a par of 70, designed to challenge both beginners and experienced golfers alike. The layout emphasizes its natural character, with the course seamlessly integrated into the surrounding terrain of hills and traditional hedge-lined fields (Knicks). The design incorporates numerous ponds, biotopes, and plantings that serve dual purposes—enhancing ecological value while creating strategic playing challenges requiring skill and tactical planning. These water features and natural obstacles demand precision from players throughout the round. The facility also includes a 6-hole short course spanning approximately 3.2 hectares, along with a driving range. The club prioritizes environmental conservation, having established extensive biotopes that provide natural habitats for local flora and fauna. This commitment to preserving the landscape's natural character distinguishes Golfclub Stenerberg as an ecologically conscious facility that balances golf with nature protection.
