The Afterwork-Cup is a weekly 9-hole handicap-relevant individual Stableford competition held every Tuesday at Golfclub Stenerberg. In summer, the start time is 17:00 (spring and autumn: 16:00), though times may vary by up to 30 minutes depending on weather and sunset conditions. The event is open to both ladies and gentlemen of all age groups. Members require a handicap index of 54 or better; visiting guests require a handicap index of 45 or better. Guests are explicitly welcome and must register on the day via the sign-up list in the clubhouse bar or by phone at 04642-9212422 (from 14:00 until 90 minutes before the scheduled start). The entry fee is 6 € (startgeld) plus a greenfee of 25 € for guests. The event includes sausage grilling after the round. The competition is run by Lothar Oetken, Walter Heise, and Jürgen Möller.

Golfclub Stenerberg is an 18-hole championship course located in the rolling Angeliter landscape between Kappeln and Süderbrarup near the Schlei River in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, positioned between the Baltic Sea and North Sea. The course stretches 5,160 meters with a par of 70, designed to challenge both beginners and experienced golfers alike. The layout emphasizes its natural character, with the course seamlessly integrated into the surrounding terrain of hills and traditional hedge-lined fields (Knicks). The design incorporates numerous ponds, biotopes, and plantings that serve dual purposes—enhancing ecological value while creating strategic playing challenges requiring skill and tactical planning. These water features and natural obstacles demand precision from players throughout the round. The facility also includes a 6-hole short course spanning approximately 3.2 hectares, along with a driving range. The club prioritizes environmental conservation, having established extensive biotopes that provide natural habitats for local flora and fauna.
