Weekly Afterwork-Cup tournament held every Tuesday at Golfplatz Stenerberg. This is a handicap-relevant individual Stableford competition over 9 holes. Open to ladies and gentlemen of all age groups. Members require a handicap index (HI) of 54 or lower; visiting guests require an HI of 45 or lower. Guests are welcome and must register via the sign-up list in the clubhouse or by phone on the day of play from 14:00 until 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. Start times vary by season: 16:00 in spring and autumn, 17:00 in summer. Entry fee is €6, and guests also pay a €25 green fee. Golfclub Stenerberg is an 18-hole championship course located in the rolling Angeliter landscape between Kappeln and Süderbrarup near the Schlei River in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, positioned between the Baltic Sea and North Sea. The course stretches 5,160 meters with a par of 70, designed to challenge both beginners and experienced golfers alike. The layout emphasizes its natural character, with the course seamlessly integrated into the surrounding terrain of hills and traditional hedge-lined fields (Knicks). The design incorporates numerous ponds, biotopes, and plantings that serve dual purposes-enhancing ecological value while creating strategic playing challenges requiring skill and tactical planning. These water features and natural obstacles demand precision from players throughout the round. The facility also includes a 6-hole short course spanning approximately 3.2 hectares, along with a driving range. The club prioritizes environmental conservation, having established extensive biotopes that provide natural habitats for local flora and fauna.
