The Afterwork-Cup is a weekly 9-hole handicap-relevant individual stableford tournament held every Tuesday at Golfclub Stenerberg. In summer, the start time is 17:00 (with possible adjustments of up to 30 minutes depending on weather, sunset, and number of participants); in spring and autumn, the start time is 16:00. The event is open to ladies and gentlemen of all age groups. Members require a handicap index of 54 or lower, while guests require a handicap index of 45 or lower. Guests are warmly welcome and must register on the day of play via the notice board in the clubhouse restaurant (stating their home club) or by phone at 04642-9212422 in the club office, from 14:00 until 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. The entry fee is 6 EUR, and guests pay a greenfee of 25 EUR. The tournament is run by Spielleitung: Lothar Oetken, Walter Heise, and Jürgen Möller.

Golfclub Stenerberg is an 18-hole championship course located in the rolling Angeliter landscape between Kappeln and Süderbrarup near the Schlei River in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, positioned between the Baltic Sea and North Sea. The course stretches 5,160 meters with a par of 70, designed to challenge both beginners and experienced golfers alike. The layout emphasizes its natural character, with the course seamlessly integrated into the surrounding terrain of hills and traditional hedge-lined fields (Knicks). The design incorporates numerous ponds, biotopes, and plantings that serve dual purposes—enhancing ecological value while creating strategic playing challenges requiring skill and tactical planning. These water features and natural obstacles demand precision from players throughout the round. The facility also includes a 6-hole short course spanning approximately 3.2 hectares, along with a driving range. The club prioritizes environmental conservation, having established extensive biotopes that provide natural habitats for local flora and fauna.
