KI Monthly is a recurring monthly competition held on the first Thursday of each month (except December) at Tanagura Country Club in Fukushima Prefecture. The event is a half competition with scoring on the front nine holes only, using the New Peria scoring method with double par cut. The maximum handicap for entry is 18. Players pay the green fee plus a 330 yen entry fee (tax included). Prizes are awarded to 1st-5th, 7th, 10th and below, with flying prizes, Best Ball prizes, and other awards. Players receive 30 practice balls before their start. During lunch, the second soft drink is half price. The event is open to visitors and non-members. Note that special rate or voucher holders should confirm participation by phone.

Located in the eastern hills of Fukushima Prefecture, Tanagura Country Club is a 27-hole facility set in a rolling, hilly landscape that offers views of the Nasu, Abukuma, and Hachimantai mountain ranges. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops: the East Course, the Center Course, and the West Course. Each nine plays to a par of 36, resulting in a total course par of 108. The layout is characterized by a mix of flat, open fairways and strategic doglegs that require thoughtful shot selection to manage scores effectively. The East Course is described as flat and approachable, though it features several dogleg holes on the front and back nines that demand precision. The Center Course offers a slightly shorter distance but provides varied challenges that prevent it from being underestimated. The West Course is the longest of the three, catering to powerful hitters who can drive the ball effectively, with a layout that rewards accurate driving and careful putting. The facility has a history of hosting significant tournaments, including the Japan-US University Golf Championship, which utilizes the course as a championship venue. The club also actively supports junior golf development through summer camps and junior cups, fostering a competitive environment for young players. Amenities include a covered driving range and an on-site lodge, allowing for convenient access to relaxation and accommodation immediately following play.
