Weekly Golf Rd. 14

Veckogolfen (Weekly Golf) is a 9-hole strokeplay competition played on the Prästgården course at Jarlabanke Golfklubb. The event is open to all golfers, including ladies, men, and juniors. It serves as an ideal beginner competition. The season consists of 21 Thursdays starting from May 7, 2026, plus a final round on Saturday, September 26, 2026 (Enardagen). Players may start their round at any time on the day, with a recommended group start at 13:00 for tactics and camaraderie. Rounds must be completed and scorecards photographed and sent by 20:00. Entry is made via Mingolf.se, preferably the day before or on the day of the event. The entry fee is 100 SEK per round, paid by Swish to the organizers (Lars Melin: 073-647 48 51 or Kjell Wallén: 070-675 26 90), which contributes to the prize fund. For the final on September 26, an additional 100 SEK entry fee applies. The competition is non-handicap qualifying, but players may optionally register their scores on mingolf.se afterwards. Scorecards must be signed by the player and marker, photographed, and sent to the organizers for confirmation. A minimum of three starters is required for a valid round. The overall result is based on the 10 best rounds from the 21 weekly rounds plus the final. Prize points are distributed according to a fixed key: 1st place receives 22 points, 2nd 20, 3rd 18, 4th 16, 5th 15, 6th 14, etc. If there are more than 19 participants, the remaining players receive 1 point. The winner always receives 22 points. The full results list is available on the website under Anmälan/Resultat or in the golf calendar, where the Order of Merit can also be viewed. The club house is open on Thursdays with sales available.
