The Makita 9 is a 9-hole Stableford tournament series for amateur golfers, running on Wednesdays from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027. Played under official Golf Rules with handicap strokes, the event is open to all amateurs who are members of a golf club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Association (ÖGV) or an internationally recognized national association, with a World Handicap Index (WHI) of maximum 54. Participants compete in individual strokeplay (Stableford scoring) over 9 holes, with results counted in regional and national rankings. The series includes Conference Finals and an Austria Final for qualified players, with prizes for top placements in various handicap classes (ages 18-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61+). Entry is made through the golf.at tournament calendar system. The event combines sport, good food on the club terrace, and social atmosphere.
