The Makita Turnierserie 2026 is a 9-hole afterwork tournament series held on Wednesdays at Golf- und Landclub Achensee. It is an individual strokeplay competition played by Stableford scoring with handicap strokes. Open to all amateur golfers who are members of an ÖGV-affiliated club and hold a World Handicap Index of maximum 54. The series runs from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027. Participants can enter multiple tournaments across Austria, with the best nine results counting towards the overall ranking. Age categories are: Class 1 (under 30), Class 2 (31-45), Class 3 (46-60), Class 4 (61+). Prizes are awarded at Conference Finals and Austria Final stages. Entry fees and start times are set by the host club. The event combines sport, good food on the club terrace, and socializing.
