The Makita Tournament Series 2026 is a 9-hole afterwork tournament series held on Wednesdays at Golf- und Landclub Achensee. The series runs from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2027. Each individual club tournament is played as a 9-hole Stableford strokeplay competition with handicap strokes, counting towards the official ÖGV (Austrian Golf Federation) ranking. All amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV or an internationally recognized national golf association, and who hold a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or lower, are eligible to participate. Registration is handled by the hosting club via the ÖGV tournament calendar at golf.at. The event combines competitive golf with a relaxed social atmosphere, including a comfortable conclusion on the club terrace. While the individual club tournaments do not offer prizes, results contribute to the overall series ranking. The top nine results count toward the regional ranking, and participants must complete at least five tournaments to qualify for the Conference Finals. The series includes age-graded categories (Classes 1-4 based on age) and a club team ranking. Prizes are awarded at the Conference Finals and Austria Final stages for top individual and team performers. Prize money for specific club projects or youth development at the Austria Final: 1st place €5,000, 2nd place €3,000, 3rd place €1,500, 4th-8th place €500 each.
