The 17th Medaille de la Couharde (Couharde Medal) competition as part of the Challenge de la Couharde 2026 series, held at Golf des Yvelines on Friday 2 October 2026. The event is played in individual stableford format. Open to both members of the AS Golf des Yvelines (in good standing) and non-members. Entry is made in person at the club reception, where players register next to their preferred tee time. Tee times are pre-assigned; if a slot has fewer than two players registered, solo players will be moved to the nearest available time to ensure a minimum of two players per group. The competition counts for official handicap index (statut index). Entry fees are €15 for AS members and €20 for non-members for a single event. The Challenge de la Couharde 2026 runs from June to October 2026 with 20 Medaille events, using a Brut Eclectic scoring format where each player's best hole-by-hole score across all events forms their final aggregate. A minimum of 5 events must be played to be eligible for the final official ranking. Prize-giving takes place on 19 December 2026.

Golf des Yvelines is situated within a wooded park of 90 hectares located 30 minutes from Paris near La Queue-Lez-Yvelines. The facility features two courses: Les Chênes, an 18-hole championship course, and Les Tilleuls, a 9-hole course. Both layouts are centered around the Château de la Couharde, a 16th-century castle that serves as the clubhouse. The courses are characterized by their wooded setting with century-old trees, providing a naturally challenging environment. The terrain takes advantage of the mature landscape, creating scenic and demanding play. The 18-hole course represents the primary championship layout, while the 9-hole course offers an accessible alternative. The facility emphasizes environmental stewardship, implementing water management practices, biodiversity preservation, and controlled use of phytosanitary products. Golf des Yvelines is working toward environmental certification standards. The venue accommodates both casual play and competitive events, supported by practice facilities, a pro shop, and on-site dining within the historic château setting. The courses welcome manual and electric trolleys for play.
