The Couharde Medal #16 is an individual stableford competition held at Golf des Yvelines on Tuesday 22 September 2026 as part of the Challenge de la Couharde 2026 series. The event is open to all golfers, including non-members. Entry fees are 15 euros for members of the AS Golf des Yvelines and 20 euros for non-members. Registrations are made in person at the club reception, where players sign up next to their preferred tee time. The competition uses the Eclectic format for the overall Challenge series, where each participant plays multiple events throughout the season and the final ranking is based on the best score achieved by the player on each of the 18 holes across all events played. This particular Medaille de la Couharde counts for official handicap index (FFGolf). The event is played as individual stableford over 18 holes. A minimum of 5 events from the full Challenge series (including bonus rounds in November) must be played to be eligible for the final official ranking. Prize awards are given during the December 19, 2026 awards ceremony.

Golf des Yvelines is situated within a wooded park of 90 hectares located 30 minutes from Paris near La Queue-Lez-Yvelines. The facility features two courses: Les Chênes, an 18-hole championship course, and Les Tilleuls, a 9-hole course. Both layouts are centered around the Château de la Couharde, a 16th-century castle that serves as the clubhouse. The courses are characterized by their wooded setting with century-old trees, providing a naturally challenging environment. The terrain takes advantage of the mature landscape, creating scenic and demanding play. The 18-hole course represents the primary championship layout, while the 9-hole course offers an accessible alternative. The facility emphasizes environmental stewardship, implementing water management practices, biodiversity preservation, and controlled use of phytosanitary products. Golf des Yvelines is working toward environmental certification standards. The venue accommodates both casual play and competitive events, supported by practice facilities, a pro shop, and on-site dining within the historic château setting. The courses welcome manual and electric trolleys for play.
