BDO Turnering is a tournament at Hirtshals Golfklub scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026. The event is open to all club members and visiting golfers from other golf clubs who hold an EGA handicap. Entry fee is 100 DKK for all players; guests additionally pay greenfee. Entry is managed via GolfBox online, with a deadline of 20:00, three days before the tournament start date. Start lists are published in the clubhouse and via GolfBox email two days before the event. Players must check in at least 10 minutes before their start time. Golf buggies are permitted unless a cart ban is in place for the day. Distance measuring devices are allowed provided they do not delay play. General tournament conditions apply, including tie-break procedures for strokeplay, stableford, and matchplay formats. Winners must be present for the prize presentation.

Hirtshals Golfklub is an 18-hole championship course designed by architect Erik Nielsen and opened in August 1992. Located in the Lilleheden Klitplantage (dune plantation) in northern Jutland, Denmark, the course spans 71 hectares and is partially integrated into the surrounding forest, creating scenic and challenging playing conditions. The course features 26 strategically placed bunkers that challenge all 18 holes. The greens are seeded with fescue and red bent grass, maintained to roll at approximately 8 feet and regularly rolled and vertically cut multiple times weekly to ensure consistent speed and surface quality. The course is recognized among regional golfers for maintaining some of the highest green standards in the area. The setting offers a natural, forested landscape with varied terrain characteristic of Danish dune plantation golf. The course caters to all skill levels and is complemented by a 9-hole pay-and-play course. Located near the E39 motorway and approximately 5 minutes from Hirtshals ferry terminals, the club combines an informal atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, presenting a comprehensive golfing experience in North Jutland.
