The Promotion and Final Match (Opryknings- og finalespil) is a club tournament held at Hirtshals Golfklub on Sunday 13 August 2026. The event is open to all club members and visiting golfers with an EGA handicap. Entry is via GolfBox online, with a tournament fee of DKK 100 plus applicable green fee for non-members. The tournament follows standard club conditions: strokeplay scoring, with tie-breaks determined by lowest net score on the last 9, 6, 3 holes, or last hole, then lot. Players must register at least 10 minutes before start. Golf buggies are permitted. The event is part of the club's regular tournament programme and is accessible to visiting amateur golfers.

Hirtshals Golfklub is an 18-hole championship course designed by architect Erik Nielsen and opened in August 1992. Located in the Lilleheden Klitplantage (dune plantation) in northern Jutland, Denmark, the course spans 71 hectares and is partially integrated into the surrounding forest, creating scenic and challenging playing conditions. The course features 26 strategically placed bunkers that challenge all 18 holes. The greens are seeded with fescue and red bent grass, maintained to roll at approximately 8 feet and regularly rolled and vertically cut multiple times weekly to ensure consistent speed and surface quality. The course is recognized among regional golfers for maintaining some of the highest green standards in the area. The setting offers a natural, forested landscape with varied terrain characteristic of Danish dune plantation golf. The course caters to all skill levels and is complemented by a 9-hole pay-and-play course. Located near the E39 motorway and approximately 5 minutes from Hirtshals ferry terminals, the club combines an informal atmosphere with well-maintained facilities, presenting a comprehensive golfing experience in North Jutland.
