The Lansdowne Kenmare Friday Open is a weekly singles stableford competition held every Friday at Kenmare Golf Club, running from May 8th through to a Grand Final on September 25th, 2026. The event is open to both men and women with a valid golf handicap. Men play from white tees and ladies from red tees. The competition is played over 18 holes in 3-balls at 10-minute intervals, with play expected to finish within 3.5 hours. The course is 5700 yards, with buggies available for booking. Visitors are welcome to enter, with entry priced at €35.00 per player (members pay €10.00). A valid handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies) is required, or an equivalent standard. Entry is via the online booking system. The top 3 qualifiers each week advance to the Grand Final, with excellent prizes awarded weekly for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The Lansdowne Kenmare hotel is the preferred accommodation partner, offering a stay-and-play option.
