The Arles Melon Cup (アールスメロンカップ) is an open competition held at Shiraho Country Club on September 3, 2026. The event is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. The competition is played over the front 9 holes using the Peria/New Peria format (pairs format where two players compete as a team, with the better score of the two counting). Prizes include various local specialty products such as branded meats and seafood, with a participation gift for all entrants and additional prizes for top performers. The green fee includes lunch and entry fee. Online reservations are available through the club's booking system.

Shiraho Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course designed by Seizo Tomisawa, opened in September 1974. Located in Hokota, Ibaraki Prefecture, the course spans 6,932 yards across two layouts with a total area of 690,000 square meters. The OUT course measures 3,491 yards (par 36) and the IN course 3,441 yards (par 36), with multiple tee options available. The course features a flat layout with generous length, accommodating golfers of all skill levels from beginners to advanced players. Bent grass greens are maintained throughout. Notable holes include the par-5 7th (617 yards from back tees) and par-5 13th (545 yards), presenting significant length challenges. The course is characterized by its woodland setting with seasonal flowers that bloom throughout the year, creating an aesthetically pleasing environment. A practice range of 220 yards with 11 bays supports player preparation.
