The Shiraho Country Club hosts a series of open competitions throughout the year, all open to visitors and non-members. The 'Year-End Shiraho Cup' (年末白帆杯) takes place on December 17, 2026. The competition is played over the front 9 holes using a Peria/New Peria format (W Par cut), with scores collected on the front nine. Prizes include branded meats, seafood, and other local specialties, with a participation gift for all entrants plus additional prizes for standout performances. The play fee includes lunch and entry fee - please inquire with staff for further details.

Shiraho Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course designed by Seizo Tomisawa, opened in September 1974. Located in Hokota, Ibaraki Prefecture, the course spans 6,932 yards across two layouts with a total area of 690,000 square meters. The OUT course measures 3,491 yards (par 36) and the IN course 3,441 yards (par 36), with multiple tee options available. The course features a flat layout with generous length, accommodating golfers of all skill levels from beginners to advanced players. Bent grass greens are maintained throughout. Notable holes include the par-5 7th (617 yards from back tees) and par-5 13th (545 yards), presenting significant length challenges. The course is characterized by its woodland setting with seasonal flowers that bloom throughout the year, creating an aesthetically pleasing environment. A practice range of 220 yards with 11 bays supports player preparation.
