The Sunday Morning Trophy is an 18-hole Stableford competition held at Grazer Golfclub Thalersee on the Windhof course. The event is part of an eclectic turnierserie (series) with multiple dates throughout the season. Players compete individually with scores counted for both a gross and net overall classification, where the best maximum 6 gross or net results per player are counted towards the final standings. An additional Eclectic classification counts the best score per hole across all played tournaments in the series, with the overall Eclectic winner receiving €300 in travel vouchers from TravelPRO. For the gross and net overall classification, the top 3 players in each category receive travel vouchers. Entry is open to amateur golfers who are members of an ÖGV (Austrian Golf Association) or foreign national association affiliated regular club and hold a WHI (World Handicap Index) of 54 or better. Minimum 8 and maximum 40 participants accepted, with a waiting list maintained. Entry fee is €75 for guests (includes greenfee and entry fee), €55 for Murhof Group members (greenfee + entry fee), €35 for Steinfeld members, and €13 for club members. Entries must be made by email to office@grazergolf.at or by phone at +43 316 572 867, stating name, home handicap, and home club. Entries are accepted in order of receipt, with the deadline being 12:00 on the day before the tournament. Tee times start from Tee 1 from 08:00 or 08:30 depending on the date. Tee-off times are published the day before at 15:00. Men play from the yellow tees (18 holes), super seniors over 65 and children up to 14 from the blue tees, and ladies from the red tees. Electronic scorecards are used via Golf.at. The competition is played under official R&A Rules, ÖGV handicaps, ÖGV competition recommendations (hardcard), and the club's course rules. Tournament direction is by Gernot Komander and the club's handicap committee.
