The Steinfeld Cup is a 9-hole Stableford tournament series held at Grazer Golfclub Thalersee on the Steinfeld course. The 2026 series runs every Thursday from April through October, with a finale on October 8. The event on August 6, 2026 starts at 14:30 from Tee 1. Open to amateur golfers who are members of an ÖGV (Austrian Golf Union) or foreign national affiliated club, with a WHI (handicap) of 54 or better. Maximum 48 participants per event, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with a waiting list. Entry fee is €13 for Grazer Golfclub Thalersee members, €37 (greenfee + entry) for members of a 9-hole Murhof Group facility or Murhof Group members, and €47 (greenfee + entry) for guests. Payment is accepted on course by cash or bankomat card. Players use electronic scorecards via Golf.at. Tee times: men from yellow tees, ladies from red tees. Registration deadline is 10:00 on the day of the tournament. Start times are available from 12:00 on the day by phone or at golf.at. Flight requests for up to 2 players may be accommodated at the discretion of the competition committee. Groups are drawn in ascending order of handicap. For the daily competition, the last 9, 6, 3, and 1 holes are used for tie-breaking, with a draw if still level. The overall series standings count the best 10 results from all Steinfeld Cup events. The top 3 net overall standings receive prizes (goods, vouchers, etc.), while the top gross overall winners (men and women) receive a free membership at the Steinfeld course for the 2027 season.
