The Friday Chook Run is a casual 9-hole competition held every Friday at 9:00am at Burrum District Golf Club (Howard Golf Club) in Howard, Queensland. No handicap is required to enter. The event is open to both members and visiting golfers, though some prizes may be reserved for members on certain days. Social golf is available on competition days, and motorised carts can be hired by booking with the clubhouse. Non-member green fees apply ($20.00 for 9 holes). The clubhouse is open on Fridays from 9am to 9pm, with Friday night meals served from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
