Sunday Hackers is a weekly 9-hole competition held every Sunday at 6:45am at Burrum District Golf Club (Howard Golf Club) in Howard, Queensland. The event is open to visiting golfers and non-members, though some prizes may be reserved for members on certain days. Visitors are welcome to join the competition. The course is a 9-hole course with alternate tees creating a full 18-hole experience. Motorised carts are available for hire with advance booking. Green fees for non-members are $20.00 for 9 holes. The course spans 5,727 metres with a par of 70 for men and 72 for women. The layout features a mix of sand bunkers, water hazards in the form of dams, and occasional narrow, tree-lined fairways that provide moderate challenge without excessive difficulty. The club hosts regular competitions including Saturday mixed events, Tuesday veteran rounds, Wednesday men's play, Thursday ladies' competitions, and popular Friday nine-hole "Chook Runs" that require no handicap.
