The Friday Chook Run is a casual 9-hole individual competition held every Friday at 9:00am at Burrum District Golf Club (also known as Howard Golf Club). The event is open to all players regardless of handicap level, and no handicap is required to enter. Visiting golfers are welcome to join the competition, although some prizes may be reserved for members on certain days. The course is a 9-hole/18-hole layout with Par 70 for men and Par 72 for ladies. Non-member green fees apply for social play ($20 for 9 holes). The competition is a standard individual format played over 9 holes. Entry is made by phoning the clubhouse on 0481 568 296.
