A new clubhouse with technical facilities was built with the support of a grant from the National Recovery Plan and sponsors, with the official opening of the nine-hole course and clubhouse planned for spring 2025. Golf Park Mikołów was constructed through a unique community effort, with the clubhouse, driving range, and the first nine holes built by volunteers and association members without government subsidies. The facility officially opened on June 4, 2016, with the first nine holes operational that year. The second nine holes were completed in 2017, and the full 18-hole course was finished in 2018. The course is designed to accommodate both advanced players and beginners, offering a mix of challenging and accessible holes to ensure a varied experience. The course has hosted various local tournaments, including the Hemlecki Cup & Friends and events where players like Szymon Mil have achieved notable victories. The facility also includes a practice area with three greens, a driving range, and a simulator, supporting both casual play and structured training. The course's integration with the botanical garden's collections provides a unique environment for golfers, distinguishing it from standard parkland courses in the region.
