Chikushigaoka Golf Club is a facility featuring three distinct nine-hole courses: the North Course, the West Course, and the South Course. The 6th hole is described as a smooth S-curve long hole where the second shot must navigate a divided fairway. The 9th hole is a downhill par-5 where the green is protected by a water hazard in front, requiring careful club selection to avoid penalty strokes while aiming for the safe approach zone. The West Course is defined by its downhill nature and scenic vistas. The 3rd hole is a par-4 that ascends toward the green, offering views of Fukuoka City and Mount Takadake. The 6th hole is a par-3 shot over a valley, protected by three bunkers on the right and two grass bunkers on the left. The 8th hole is a demanding par-3 with significant elevation drop, where a water hazard sits just three meters from the front of the green, making accuracy critical. The course features several multi-tiered greens, including the 4th hole, which has a three-tiered structure that complicates putting and approach shots. The South Course offers a variety of mid-length holes with complex green contours. The 5th hole is a par-5 that requires a carry over a water hazard, with a fairway tree serving as a central target. The 7th hole is a long par-5 that doglegs left, featuring a downhill tee shot and a second shot from a left-footed lie. The 9th hole finishes with a view toward the clubhouse, playing to a two-tiered green guarded by bunkers. Across all three courses, the greens are noted for their speed and complex undulations, often sloping from the back to the front or from the sides toward the center, requiring golfers to carefully consider pin positions and approach angles.
