The course was carved out of 200 acres of towering pines and mature hardwoods by designers Finger, Dye, and Spahn. Located at 900 Harrelson Blvd in Myrtle Beach, SC, the course sits just one-half mile from oceanfront hotels and attractions, with the 16th hole only a driver and 5-iron from Myrtle Beach Airport. The rarely seen native landscape has been preserved to allow golfers a truly unique feel. The course is described as a great sample of original Myrtle Beach golf with native landscape preserved throughout. The layout features tree-lined fairways, strategically placed lakes, and well-undulated greens. The course uses Bermuda grass on both greens and fairways. The 14th hole, a par 5 measuring 463 yards, is a double dogleg that is incredibly difficult to reach in two shots despite its appearance.
