Blue Top Ridge is an 18-hole par 72 course designed by golf course architect Rees Jones, spanning over 7,400 yards and completed in 2007. Located in Riverside, Iowa, the course is part of the Riverside Casino and Resort. Holes are laid out on the floodplain of the meandering Iowa River with several fairways routed around man-made lakes. The back nine is easily the more compelling of the two sides and raises the level of the course quite a bit after a fairly average front nine. The back nine is noted for having the longest hole in Iowa. The 16th hole-a 665-yard par 5-is heralded as the longest hole in Iowa, with the drop from the tee to the bottom of the fairway being 60 feet before climbing back uphill 50 feet to the green. Water comes into play on most of the holes on the front while the back uses the terrain to deliver the challenge. The course has hosted many Iowa Section Events including the Iowa Open and Iowa Junior Open. The Iowa Open has been held at Blue Top Ridge annually since 2009, with multiple champions crowned at the course.

Bluebonnet Country was designed by Jay Riviere and opened in 1973. The course features 18 holes with a par of 72 and a length of 6495 yards. Once labeled as "one of the greatest second shot courses in the country" by original pro Jay Hebert (captain of the 1971 Ryder Cup team), this bluebonnet-laden track is the highlight of a 2,200-acre development between Houston and College Station. Jay Riviere incorporated lakes, ponds, and creeks on 14 of 18 holes, as well as some impressive elevation changes. Rick Forester came through for a redesign in 1983 to spice up the layout. At Bluebonnet CC you'll find good birdie chances in the short 500-yard par 5s, as well as a few tough pars in the long par 4s that approach the 450-yard range. No. 11 is the best hole, a 360-yarder with water on either side of the dogleg fairway and the approach is into a green surrounded by bunkers. At first glance, the course looks moderate to easy, but after a few holes you realize that it is more of a "target" course than you imagined, with well laid out challenges suitable for all levels of leisure golfers. From the back tees, the course will challenge even the best of golfers.

The 18-hole Blues Creek course features 6,029 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Located just outside of Marysville, Ohio, approximately three miles north of US 33 on State Route 4, the course is situated on 134 acres in the Northwest part of Union County. It was established as a nine-hole golf course in 1977 by Ronald L. Bayes with the help of his family, friends, and golf-buddies. The course is not a long course but it is a par 70 with extremely narrow, tree-lined fairways with small greens. The golf course sprawls across hilly terrain that provides some tricky uneven lies, and the layout has an interesting mix of holes including several lengthy par 4s and par 5s. In the fall of 2018, a major renovation of the bunkers was completed, and in 2019 and 2020, the ponds on holes 3, 5, and 8 were drained and reconstructed. Although it is seemingly benign, the course has many surprising challenges that are a formidable test for even skilled golfers. The greens putt fast and true, and the course requires careful course management and will test shot-making skills.

Bluestone Country Club is a private country club in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, founded in 1949 as Meadowlands Country Club. The Championship Course is an 18-hole, par 71, 6455-yard championship caliber golf course. Originally designed by renowned father and son team Bill and David Gordon, the course was designed as a walking course with a quality caddie program. The Gordon Team is credited with designing and consulting on many fine courses, including Saucon Valley's Grace course (PA), Hershey's Mill Golf Club (PA), and White Manor Country Club (PA), among many others. The golf course was built on open and very gently rolling land, where cattle and horses had grazed for years. When updated in the mid-'90s, seven new holes were created, a number of others were revised, trees were removed, and water was brought into play as the par-71 Championship Course became a more contemporary and stimulating test of golf. The Championship Course features undulating greens, strategic bunkering, and water hazards that make the course fun yet challenging. Each hole offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels by providing four separate tee boxes. In 2007, The Championship Course was utilized as a qualifying venue for the U.S. Amateur. In 2016, Meadowlands was sold amid financial trouble. The club was later renamed Bluestone Country Club.
