Blue Top Ridge is an 18-hole par 72 course designed by golf course architect Rees Jones, spanning over 7,400 yards and completed in 2007. Located in Riverside, Iowa, the course is part of the Riverside Casino and Resort. Holes are laid out on the floodplain of the meandering Iowa River with several fairways routed around man-made lakes. The back nine is easily the more compelling of the two sides and raises the level of the course quite a bit after a fairly average front nine.

The back nine is noted for having the longest hole in Iowa. The 16th hole—a 665-yard par 5—is heralded as the longest hole in Iowa, with the drop from the tee to the bottom of the fairway being 60 feet before climbing back uphill 50 feet to the green. Water comes into play on most of the holes on the front while the back uses the terrain to deliver the challenge.

The course has hosted many Iowa Section Events including the Iowa Open and Iowa Junior Open. The Iowa Open has been held at Blue Top Ridge annually since 2009, with multiple champions crowned at the course.
