It is Ghana's sole surviving golf course from the early twentieth century, when five nine-hole courses operated in Accra. The Ackerman-Allen Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course at Purdue University designed by renowned architect Pete Dye. Originally built in 1934 as the Purdue South Course by Indiana Golf Hall of Famer Bill Diddle, the course underwent significant renovation under Dye's creative direction to create a modern championship venue while preserving its parkland-style character. The course features large bent-grass greens, fairways, and tees with rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, and white sand bunkers. Water hazards are minimal. Five tee options accommodate all skill levels, ranging from 5,255 yards (forward tees) to 7,546 yards (championship tees). The layout presents moderate to challenging conditions for golfers of varying abilities. Ackerman-Allen has substantial tournament history, having hosted the 1961 NCAA Men's Championships where Purdue won the team title and Jack Nicklaus earned medalist honors. The renovation, completed in the late 1990s, addressed modern agronomic standards including turf varieties, drainage, irrigation, and green speeds. Two new holes were added adjacent to Cherry Lane and McCormick Road to improve spacing and course flow. The course is included on the Pete Dye Trail, a collection of distinctive Indiana golf courses.

Designed by Leo Leathers, the course opened in 1993 and was founded by the Glenn family as a premier golf facility for the City of Amory and surrounding region. The course is a nine hole executive golf course with Bent Grass greens open to public play in beautiful Adams County, and is a fast play despite its challengingly small greens. Located in West Union near all the attractions Adams County has to offer including Amish country, hiking, history or just a romantic getaway at an area B&B. The course is under an hour drive from Batavia, Hillsboro, Chillicothe, Portsmouth, Maysville and Augusta, with Cincinnati just 75 minutes away. The course features 3 sets of tees for different skill levels, allowing golfers of varying abilities to enjoy the layout. The facility is a USGA member and works with them to ensure the greens are in optimal condition.

Boots Hollow Golf Club (formerly Adams Golf Course) is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Originally established in 1963, the course was designed by Floyd Farley and measures 6,748 yards with a par of 72. In 2025, the course underwent a major renovation project featuring complete replacement of all 18 greens with championship-quality 007 XL Bentgrass, along with upgraded drainage systems and nursery facilities. The course features a slope rating of 128 and course rating of 73.0 from the championship tees. The layout meanders through Eastern Oklahoma's rolling terrain with Turkey Creek serving as a defining feature. The creek has been engineered to create scenic ponds that come into play on 12 of the 18 holes, adding water hazards that demand precision play. The course was named to honor K.S. "Boots" Adams, whose family donated land and financial support for the construction of what was originally called Sooner Park Golf Course.
