Sanctuary Golf Course

Designed in 1994 by renowned golf course architect Michael Coate, the 18-hole 72 Par championship golf course has been designed to both test and reward with multiple hazards. Located just 8 mins from Bunbury and a 1.5 hour drive from Perth, the course is positioned in the southwest region of Western Australia. Set on 145 acres of pristine bush and lake lands, with picturesque, undulating fairways, manicured, sculptured greens and an array of strategically placed bunkers, the course weaves itself around a housing estate, bush blocks and no less than 7 lakes. The Tee options available ensure that golfers of all levels can enjoy the experience. The picturesque, undulating fairways, manicured greens and challenging sand & water hazards are home to an abundance of native bird life. Individual holes feature varied difficulty levels, including par 3 and par 4 configurations of different lengths. The 7th is a par 3 described as the hardest par 3 on the course not only due to length but with huge bunkers in front. The front nine finishing hole is uphill all the way playing a lot longer than the 383m it says. The course also features a floodlit driving range and is open to the public seven days a week.
