Sapporo Regent Golf Club

Sapporo Regent Golf Club features a 36-hole championship layout located approximately 30 minutes from central Sapporo in gently rolling hills between Sapporo and New Chitose Airport. The New Course comprises 18 holes with a par of 72, measuring 3,388 yards from the back tees and 2,686 yards from the ladies' tees. The course demands strategic, cerebral play through its use of mounds, undulations, and water features including ponds and creeks.

The course showcases Hokkaido's expansive natural landscape, with white birch trees framing the fairways. Notable holes include the 5th, which offers panoramic views of the Ishikari Plain, the dramatic downhill par-4 6th, the signature par-3 17th, and the challenging 18th with out-of-bounds along the left side. The layout incorporates natural topography effectively, balancing risk-reward opportunities across both par-3 and par-5 holes. The New Course operates with flexible self-play or caddie options in an American-style format, complementing the separate Old Course layout at the facility.
