Developed and built in the 1960s by a group of farmers, the traditional layout, soaring trees and country setting provide a warm and rustic feel. Approximately 85 percent of the fairways are wide open and generous, and even from the back tees, this course is fair and playable. Princes Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship links golf located on the stunning coastline of Sandwich, Kent. The course features three loops of nine holes providing consistent challenge throughout the layout. Following significant redevelopment since 2017, the club has established itself as a premier venue, appearing in all Top 100 Great Britain and Ireland rankings. The course showcases a historic links setting with an idyllic coastal environment. The three nine-hole loops demonstrate considerable strength in depth, offering a golfing challenge comparable to many of Britain's finest links courses. The terrain and design balance modern standards with historic character. Princes has hosted prestigious championships including the 2023 Women's Amateur Championship and served as Final Qualifying venue for The Open Championship from 2018 to 2022. The club's most notable historical achievement was hosting the 1932 Open Championship, won by Gene Sarazen. Looking forward, Princes is scheduled to host the 2030 Walker Cup. The 18-hole "Princeton" course at the Princeton Country Club facility in Princeton, New Jersey features 6060 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Designed by William F. Gordon, ASGCA/(R) Ault, Clark & Associates, the Princeton golf course opened in 1964. Princeton CC is a challenging 18 hole championship golf facility that became part of the Mercer County Park Commission in 1965. The clubhouse was renovated in 2015 and the golf course benefitted from a new irrigation system as well as new bunkers in 2014. Measuring just over 6,000 yards and playing to a par of 70, the defense of the course is its tight tree-lined fairways and small back to front sloping greens. Accuracy over distance as well as a keen short game is demanded to score well here. The course rating is 68.8 and it has a slope rating of 113. Princeton Country Club Golf Club has an onsite driving range with 4 practice tees. Princeton CC has a full driving range and practice putting green.
