Proserpine Golf Club is an 18-hole course nestled among sugar cane fields in a picturesque setting with varied trees and wildlife. The course features a creek running through the back nine, which significantly increases difficulty compared to the more forgiving front nine.
The front nine is par 35 and plays 2,810 metres from the black tees, comprising one par 5, six par 4s, and two par 3s. Players encounter narrow fairways, sloping greens, and various hazards throughout. The back nine measures 2,907 metres and includes one challenging dog-leg par 5 with hazards on both sides, six par 4s, and two par 3s protected by a running creek.
From black tees, the full course plays to par 70 with a slope rating of 112. From green tees, it's par 71 with a slope rating of 118. The course presents a moderate challenge with narrow fairways and strategic hazards demanding varied club selections and precise tee shots, particularly on the par 3s.
Practice facilities include a 150-metre practice fairway adjacent to hole nine and a putting green near hole one, supplemented by practice nets for swing development.
