King Fields Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, situated on a gently rolling hillside spanning 1.1 million square meters. The layout was originally designed by the American architecture firm Benz & Polet and opened in 1985. The course features a total yardage of 7,107 yards from the black tees, with multiple tee box options ranging from 5,288 yards on the red tees to 6,303 yards on the white tees. The course rating is set at 73, with the eighth hole identified as the most suitable for long-drive players and the eleventh hole recommended for proximity play. The front nine presents a mix of distances, starting with a 402-yard par-4 and a 550-yard par-5 from the black tees. The back nine includes a demanding 590-yard par-5 tenth hole and a 547-yard par-5 eighteenth. The course is played with full caddie service and electromagnetic induction-powered nine-seater golf carts. The facility has undergone numerous renovations over the years, including specific improvements to the first, sixth, seventh, tenth, eleventh, thirteenth, and seventeenth holes, as well as extensive bunker drainage improvements. King Fields has a notable history in professional golf, hosting the Hitachi Three Tours Championship for six consecutive years from 2006 to 2011. In September 2011, the course served as the venue for the 44th Japan LPGA Tour Konica Minolta Cup, a major national tournament. Management of the club was transferred to Isogo Country Club in Yokohama in 2001, which reorganized operations under a new corporate structure to maintain and enhance the course and facilities.
