Located in the city of Mino, Gifu Prefecture, Zuiryo Golf Club is a 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The layout is set within a gentle, rolling landscape that offers expansive views of the Central Alps, Mount Takane, and the screen-like silhouette of Byobu-yama. The design philosophy centers on the concept of "risk and reward," where strategic decision-making is required to navigate the course's varied challenges. Key holes include the long par-5 4th hole, which stretches to 584 yards from the Jones tees, and the par-5 13th hole, which measures 584 yards from the back markers. The 18th hole serves as a closing par-5, offering a final strategic test with yardages up to 538 yards. The facility is housed in a single-story clubhouse with a traditional tiled gable roof, reflecting a Japanese aesthetic that blends with the surrounding nature. The design incorporates seasonal elements, such as cherry blossoms in spring and colorful foliage in autumn, to enhance the visual experience.
