Yunoura Country Club is a 18-hole, par-72 golf course located in a hilly area in Hinoe City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. Situated near the Yaeyama Skyline, the course offers views of the East China Sea to the west and Mount Kongo to the rear. The layout features wide fairways and a total length of 5,400 yards from the blue tees, with yardages varying by tee color: 5,120 yards from white, 4,890 yards from green, and 4,000 yards from red. The course is known for its strategic design, which includes large ponds affecting seven holes and subtle undulations throughout the fairways and greens. It was notable for being the first course in Kagoshima Prefecture to implement bent grass putting greens. The terrain is characterized by its elevated position on a scenic hillside, providing a distinct sense of space and scale. Landscape features include approximately 700 palm trees, including Washingtonia palms, Phoenix palms, and sago palms, planted around the clubhouse and each hole. The clubhouse itself is described as having a Southern European architectural style. The course is accessible via the Yaeyama Skyline, approximately 17 kilometers from the Yaeyama Interchange.
