Yamashiro Golf Club is a 36-hole members-only facility located in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, situated on a 1060,000-tsubo (approximately 3.5 million square meters) hilly terrain just five minutes from the Onsen town of Yamashiro. The course opened on October 10, 1995, and is divided into two distinct 18-hole layouts: the King Course and the Queen Course. The Queen Course measures 6,848 yards with a par of 72 and a course rating of 72.6, while the King Course stretches to 6,987 yards, also at par 72, with a course rating of 73.6. The two courses offer contrasting playing styles. The Queen Course is described as requiring accurate shot-making, whereas the King Course, which has been redesigned in an American style, is intended for players who enjoy powerful, long-distance shots. The King Course features a demanding back nine, highlighted by the 16th hole, a 585-yard par 5, and the 1st hole, a 563-yard par 5. The Queen Course presents its own challenges with long par 5s, including the 5th hole at 565 yards and the 18th at 550 yards. Strategic par 3s add variety to the layout. The King Course includes the 7th hole at 185 yards and the 14th at 218 yards, while the Queen Course features the 2nd hole at 145 yards and the 12th at 230 yards. The facility is owned by H.J. Co., Ltd., and maintains a course rating of 73.6 for the King Course and 72.6 for the Queen Course. The club is affiliated with the Japan Golf Association (JGA) and the Central Golf Association (CGA).
