Winkler County Golf Course is a 9-hole course featuring 3,218 yards of golf with a par of 36. Designed by James Ebey, the course opened in 1940. Located on Highway 302 seven miles west of Kermit, the course sits in a West Texas desert setting. The course features wide-open, hard-panned fairways that are flat with elevated, fairly large and undulating greens, and is a simple design with few trees and random bunkers scattered throughout.
