Windy Knoll Golf Club, established in 2001, is one of the newest in the Springfield area and an excellent addition to the rich golf tradition of Ohio. The 18-hole course features 6,820 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The Brian Huntley design, formerly with Arthur Hills, has masterfully preserved and integrated many of the characteristics of the original horse farm. The golf course has challenging holes named The Pasture, Stallion Row, The Saddle and Starting Gate.

The course features the "Risk / Reward" character of many of the holes, and along with multiple tees on every hole, makes Windy Knoll an enjoyable challenge for players of all skill levels. Water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course and there are trees and rough lining the fairways. The course rating is 70.4 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bent grass. The course is open to the public.
