Nestled in the Hudson Valley just north of the Bear Mountain Bridge, West Point Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout designed by Robert Trent Jones. The course features a mountain setting with well-maintained terrain typically found at private clubs, presenting significant elevation changes and uneven lies that challenge golfers of all skill levels.

The design incorporates water hazards, carries, and small greens demanding accuracy from the tee and approach shots. The course is heavily wooded off the fairways, adding strategic complexity. A distinctive feature is its historical theming: Hole #1 references the American Revolution, while holes #17 and #18 commemorate Iraq and Afghanistan.

West Point Golf Course serves as the home of Army Golf, the United States Military Academy's Division I golf team, which practices and hosts tournaments here, including the prestigious Army Navy Match. The course maintains excellent conditioning and was rated the third-best military golf course in the United States by Golfers' Choice in 2024. Amenities include a driving range, snack bar facilities on both nines, and a pro shop.
