Walsenburg Golf Course is a 9-hole municipal course located in Spanish Peaks Country, featuring views of the Spanish Peaks and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The front tees play 3,110 yards at par 36, while the back tees stretch to 3,285 yards, also par 36, with a course rating of 65.7 and slope of 101. Women's tees measure 2,970 yards with a course rating of 67.4 and slope of 108. The course offers two sets of tees for varied play and can be played as an 18-hole round using both sets. Set in the foothills terrain with mountain vistas, the course provides a scenic mountain setting. Amenities include golf cart rentals, a driving range, and mini golf. The facility features an on-site bar and grill within the clubhouse. The course operates daily from 8 AM to 7 PM, with league play scheduled Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Located at the entrance to Lathrop State Park, no state park pass is required to play. Access is available via Second Street from Walsenburg.
