Vernonia Golf Course

Vernonia Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 36 course located 3 miles from Vernonia, Oregon, in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range. The course was originally established in 1928 and sits adjacent to the Nehalem River, offering scenic views and tree-lined fairways throughout the layout. The setting combines a natural, forested environment with riverside proximity, creating an aesthetically pleasing landscape typical of the region's terrain. The course features a practice green and is designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Under new ownership since June 2023, the course operates from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The relatively modest length and hole count make it accessible for casual play while still providing an engaging round for experienced golfers. The combination of river views, mature trees, and well-maintained grounds creates a classic small-town golf experience.
