Quail Valley Golf Club

Course Information Unclaimed

Quail Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course featuring 6,603 yards from the longest tees with a par of 72, designed by John Zoller and opened in 1994. Located west of Portland and surrounded by farmland, the course is flat and very walkable. The championship links-style course is approximately 30 minutes west of downtown Portland just off Highway 26.

Good use of water and trees make the course far from simple, although golfers can recover from most treed areas. Several grass mounds and small trees line the fairways, with fairway and green bunkers everywhere and well-placed water hazards throughout. Notable features include holes 6 and 7, which feature ridges dividing the left and right of the greens. The course has a rating of 71.6 with a slope rating of 122.

Quail Valley was rated as one of Oregon's Top 20 courses by Golf Advisor in 2015 and 2016. The course annually hosts state high-school golf championships and serves as the home course for Banks High School, Forest Grove High School, Catlin Gabel High School, and Pacific University.
