Veenker Memorial Golf Course is a premier public golf facility owned and operated by Iowa State University, located in Ames, Iowa. The course officially opened on May 12, 1938, following a vision by George F. Veenker, former ISU athletic director and football coach, and ISU President Raymond Hughes.
