Valley View Golf Course

Valley View Golf Course, built in 1975, is a traditional mountain-style course located in Layton, Utah at 2501 E Gentile. Designed by William Hull, the course features a traditional layout set against a mountain backdrop, offering scenic views typical of the region's terrain. The course maintains Pencross bent and poa grasses on its greens, with bluegrass and rye on fairways and rough areas, supporting play from March through mid-November.

The facility includes comprehensive practice amenities, with a 400-yard driving range, two large putting greens, three chipping areas, and a practice bunker to accommodate players of all skill levels. Valley View offers rental carts and clubs, pull carts, and professional lessons. The course operates dawn to dusk throughout the week during its normal season, accommodating various golfing needs including group events and junior programs. Metal spikes are prohibited to protect the course conditions.
