Valley Brook Country Club's 27-hole golf course and clubhouse construction was started in 1966 and completed in spring 1968. The course was designed by Ferdinand Garbin and Jim Harrison, with the Red Nine undergoing renovation in 1974 with greens redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The course consists of three nine-hole layouts: The Red Course, The Gold Course, and The Blue Course. The Blue/Gold combination plays 6,931 yards with a par of 72.
