St. Clair Country Club was founded in 1916 and has grown to 265 acres in the heart of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The club is a private facility providing 27 holes of golf, with the 18-hole Championship Course designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee in the late 1960s and ranked 20th in Pennsylvania by Golf Digest. The Terrace Nine is a 9-hole course remaining from the original Tom Bendelow design in 1916. The 18-hole Championship Course features lakes impacting play on many holes, judiciously placed bunkers, and three finishing holes that provide a challenge to any golfer.
The Championship course was renovated in 2006 and 2020 in the spirit of Wilson/Lee golf course design. The course includes an 18-hole Championship layout with newly renovated bunkers in 2021. Nestled on 265 manicured acres, the course has a quiet beauty that captivates visitors. In 2003, 2006, and again in 2012, St. Clair was recognized as one of the top 100 Private Country Clubs in America, earning recognition as one of the Platinum Clubs of America.
