The Claw at USF was an 18-hole public golf course located on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa, Florida. Designed by architect William F. Mitchell and built in 1967, the course featured a par of 71 and measured 6,863 yards. The course featured long, tight fairways lined with majestic oaks, towering cypress and pines, and was home to alligators, deer, spoonbills and other wildlife.

The Claw at USF was one of Tampa Bay's most challenging public golf courses. The course offered 5 sets of tees to accommodate different skill levels. The course record was 64, set by Gary Koch, a former PGA Tour player and NBC Golf Analyst. The course served as the home of the nationally-ranked USF Men's and Women's Golf Teams.

The Claw at USF Golf Course opened to the public in 1967 and was enjoyed by many students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. The course permanently closed to the public in September 2023, with the University of South Florida deciding to redevelop the property to better align with its institutional mission.
